17 Smoky Eyes Tutorial.

03:26

Hey guys!
Yesterday, I was hunting through my drawers looking for something different to wear on my eyes as I was going to a BBQ. I came across this 17 Smoky Eyes palette and knowing me, I had to try it out!

So today I am going to do a smoky eye tutorial using these colours only for my eyes.
Without further ado, LET'S GET CRACKING!
This is all the make-up I have used for this look, including the palette of course.
Let's start with the face.
Face

Firstly I start with The Body Shop Vitamin E 'Cool BB cream'. This foundation only comes in one shade and it is rather dark but it gives the skin great coverage. It's also light on the skin and gives it a healthy glow. To apply this I use my QVS Foundation brush.

Next up, is the collection concealer in 1 Fair. I've had this for a quite a while and as you can see, the name has worn off it. I later found out it was from Collection haha! I use this under the eyes to get rid of dark circles and on blemishes. To apply this I use my QVS concealer brush.

Thirdly, I apply The Body Shop bronze shade: warm glow 02 , to apply this I use The Body Shop Nature's Minerals Blusher Joues.

After applying the bronzer, I use my Clinique blusher brush to apply The Body Shop Shimmer Waves 02. Turning my face into a fish like pose, by pouting my lips to bring up my cheek bones, I apply the blush.

To set my face make-up, I finally use The Body Shop Loose Face Powder 02.

Eyes

Next up is the eye make-up.. So as you already know, I am using my 17 smoky eyes palette.
  • Using shade number 5, I apply this over the whole eyelid as a base.
  • Next, I use number 1 on my outer corner and blend it in, to darken the look up a bit.
  • Thirdly, I apply shade number 3 also on my outer corner and blend it in to calm it down.
  • Taking number 4, I apply it to my inner corner to brighten it up a bit and to add a touch of colour otherwise the look ends up being too dark.
  • I then use number 5 on the brow bone to lift it up.
  • On my lower lash line, I take number 2 on the outer corner to the middle, and then number 5 from the inner corner inwards, to meet. I then take another eyeshadow brush and blend them into one another at the centre.
  • Any liquid eyeliner will be fine for this, but I use my colour couture liquid eyeliner in black, and apply it three quarters along the upper lash line but not all the way.
  • I then take my colour couture black eyeliner, alternatively I will recommend the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. I apply this to my bottom lash line. Don't make this too strong/harsh, apply it lightly otherwise your eyes will look too black. I also apply it in the inner corner of my upper lash line but again, apply it lightly. To soften it, I use my eyeshadow brush and just go over it.
  • FINALLY-Using my three maybelline mascaras, I apply this to the upper lashes making them full of volume and nice&long.

Here are a few final snapshots..

And that should leave your eyes looking SMOKING HAWT!
