Today I'd like to share with you a recent bargain which is one of those where you aren't too sure at first but you decide to just go for it and have no regrets!

If you saw my recent post where I share my long weekend experience in Paris, LINK, you will have seen the above picture featured in my post. I decided to reserve my expression of love for this coat for a separate post.

PRICING

This fluffy dreamy coat cost me a whopping total of £29 reduced from £70. *pause* 

For someone who's been on the lookout for a stunning yet affordable fluffy coat, £29 is the BEST I've come across as they're usually priced up at around £50-£70.

I snatched this one up in the sale from Pretty Little Thing, and not long after I bought the coat it was sold out! I've found what I think is kind of similar to what mine looked like on the site from Topshop. (link)

A COSY MARSHMELLOW

This coat is so warm and cosy and it's one of those where I didn't expect it to be what it turned out to be.

Meaning it's firstly a lot bigger and oversized than expected - it's tricky to know what you're getting when ordering online as it is.

It's definitely a brighter pink than I thought it was but luckily I'm a huge fan of pink I didn't mind in the slightest!

I'm not going to lie, when I first put it on I wasn't too sure. It was only when I started planning outfits for Paris it was PERFECT and I fell in love. I'm now looking for any opportunity to wear it! I definitely have no regrets.

Lately it's been snowing quite a lot down in Kent where I'm from and I've tried to use this as an opportunity to see how warm this coat actually is! I can confirm it is so so cosy it is definitely something I see myself getting a lot of use out of in the colder months.

STYLE

In terms of what to wear with this, your options are definitely limitless! In Paris I paired it with a black jumpsuit and high heeled booties. Adding the coat to this outfit definitely dressed this up and made me feel sophisticated and WARM! We even walked back to the hotel from the restaurant, the walk was aprox 20 mins and I didn't feel cold once!

However this picture shows a complete opposite kind of style.

I literally paired the coat with black joggers, a cosy cream jumper and my pom pom hat.

In other words, I'll reach for the coat as a call for help to glam any look up and kind of makes it look as though you've put more effort into your outfit when all you've done is thrown a coat on. Am I right?

It's like a jumpsuit/playsuit, effortless yet making you look like you've put a lot of thought into your outfit.

Hello my lovelies!

Today I've got a shopping haul for you including accessories and beauty from all the shops I've listed above!

Sometimes it's nice to treat yourself and maybe even splurge a tad because how can one carry on being Beyonce if we don't do this every so often? We simply need everything on sale as looking good is our number one priority! (I swear it's the shopper's curse...)

So.. without further ado, here is my step by step on how to break the bank in a couple of weeks!

Topshop

From Topshop I bought the first thing I picked up were these sunglasses!

When I purchased all of these items I was super excited to use all of them as they all extremely cool and different!

The sunglasses were a tad out of my comfort zone but I have to say, this was the reason for me buying them.. I would really like to change the way I dress slightly (don't worry I'm not dyeing my hair pink nothing crazy like that!!!) but you know when you kinda get bored with wearing the same things and looking just like everyone else? Well I would like to be different by wearing quirky, out-there stuff that causes people to look at me instead of blending in with the rest! The sunnies were also by a brand called Quay (sold in Topshop) and they weren't cheap so I also wanted to make the most of my money! Why would I buy an expensive pair of plain black sunnies if I could just purchase a cheaper pair say from Primark? So these were definitely, 100% worth the money and that may just be me!

(let's carry on before I ramble)

Onto the lashes, I thought these would be pretty for date night or cocktails with the girls. The reason being, when Chris and I go on a date night or I have drinks with the girls, I always feel like putting a pair of falsies on. However the ones I wear on nights out are way too OTT for that and I therefore have the fear of looking too fake and overdone.

These however, look super subtle and flattering I can imagine a purple smokey eye and pink lipstick would work beautifully with these! I'm tempted to wear them on a date night without Chris knowing and see if he notices... (I'll let you know how I get on)

The final item I bought in Topshop was this pretty blusher brush as I've been looking for something to apply my powder highlighter recently. At first I looked into buying a fan brush and planned on heading to Supedrug after visiting Topshop. However I could not resist this super cute brush as it's totally different from my other makeup brushes I had to get it! I needed it! (I had been cursed)

The Topshop ramble is finally over... onto Mac where it's not so long! *phew*

MAC

The only item I purchased from Mac is this stunning lipstick in the shade 'Milan Mode'.

I have been looking for a colour like this from Mac ever since I lost a similar one and I needed another to heal the heartbreak!

This lipstick has been perfect recently for an everyday wear however I am curious to if I applied a lip liner before-hand, whether this would make it slightly bolder and wearable for the evening?

H&M

The only thing I purchased from H&M is this stunning skirt displaying different shades of green on a black background.

I thought this would be stunning for the autumn - winter time with thick tights, a black/green roll-neck jumper and either ankle/knee-high boots! (Whether it all works together is another story)

PRIMARK

Another stunning, hidden gem from Primark is this lilac coloured bodysuit which I've found are the best things to wear recently!

Due to the simplicity of this bodysuit I feel as though I can pair this with detailed jeans/trousers and I'm good to go as I have done in the picture below!

When I saw this in Primark I saw it as something with unlimited ways I can wear it.

The other day I paired it with a baby blue pair of high waisted shorts, a statement belt and I felt good to go!

Once again I love how it looks more expensive than it actually is due to not only the soft material and quality of the fabric, but the extra layer attached to the top of the bodysuit adding a quirky look to the style.

The third and final item I recently bought from Primark is this grey belt with a stud pattern.
I bought this due to the fact that I was looking for a fashion statement belt to wear with shorts and a plain camisole top/bodysuit to add something quirky to my look.
My boyfriend Chris helped me find this one (he's better at shopping than I am!) and I loved it instantly!

BENEFIT

Both of these items came with different magazines, the Hoola one came with an Elle mag and the other I can't remember.

However as soon as I saw they came with magazines I saw it as a chance to try them out!

Dressing up for a night out is always something to look forward to.

The thought of choosing your outfit, maybe applying fake tan, curling your hair, making a bit more of an effort and doing all the little things that make us feel slightly more confident and happier.

If you're a girl like me who loves dressing up, you know what I mean.

T.M Lewin got in contact with me asking how I would transform a during the day work in the boardroom attire into an evening look suitable for a pint at a local pub with friends.
In response to this, I am going to share my recommendations with you as to how one can go from the daytime to nighttime attire without having to go home to get changed.

In my opinion it's not so much the outfit you pick which influences one's transitioning from daytime to nighttime attire, but the accessories.

For evening drinks with the girls I always suggest a clutch bag.

They're simple yet classy,

Always add an edge to the look

And they hold all your necessities in.

A Change In Jacket

For the evening instead of going with a blazer, I would suggest a waterfall jacket. This one I found from AX Paris for an affordable £35!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to today's post featuring the lovely Boutique of Molly's 'Nadia' Floral High Neck Bodycon Dress!

(and welcome to my first fashion post!)
I think I wrote a fashion-based post a few years back, however I would like to bring more fashion to my blog aswell as beauty and lifestyle as this is something I enjoy shopping for and talking about! After being asked to write a review on one of their clothing items from their site, I could hardly resist.

Today's post features a summery bodycon dress by Boutique of Molly which is perfect for this season. 

Due to the dress's detailed patterning I would pair this with a bold coloured jacket and nude platforms.

Seeing as the pattern itself consists of many different shades, there is more than one option for what acessories (colour jacket/shoes/bag) you can pair with this.

Boutique of Molly sell a Sabrina powder blue tailored jacket which I think would go lovely with this.

Although the dress retails at quite a high price of £29.95 the quality is outstanding and you can tell the item will last a long time.

The dress suggests a summer theme however you could try and wear the item in any other season. I believe that with the help from accessories, an outfit can be worn for all different kind of occasions or seasons.
For example if you were to try and get away with wearing this in the autumn, a waterfall burgundy jacket comes to mind with a black bag/clutch.

Why not?

The dress has multiple colours that almost any colour accessory can be worn with it!

I think this dress would be suitable for a posh event such as a wedding/dinner.. you could even pair it with a denim jacket for a bbq/garden party along with nude sandals.

Although the dress itself may seem as though there's too much going on, the type of jacket can persuade the look into different possibilities.

The dress itself has a small gap showing a minute part of the chest (gives you some room to breathe!)

The back of the dress is not much different from the front.. except it doesn't have a small gap!


Although it does have two little buttons at the top which I assume the dress would be quite difficult to get in and out of without!

I wore this dress with a bold pink lip and a light pink eye look as I felt this helped draw attention to the summery colours in the dress.
However, I definitely think this dress is suitable for during the day events such as bbqs/summer parties/weddings etc and with the use of accessories, can be worn for different occasions.

I really enjoyed preparing for this post as it helped me to come out of my shell a little more as this is something I wouldn't normally do!
It's helped me feel confident and carefree and I learned that my favourite pictures from these were the ones when I appear more relaxed, happy and carefree!
