Welcome to Blogmas Day 17!

I have decided to only post Blogmas posts when I've done something interesting on the day instead of writing for the sake of it which is what I feel I have been doing.

Not for all of my Blogmas posts, but a few I posted because I'm posting everyday which is what Blogmas is. However this is my first time at attempting Blogmas and I'm finding it quite difficult to write a post for the sake of it as it's not really me. I want my posts to be fun which is what blogging is, writing about either things you've done or make you happy that you feel the need to share it with anyone who reads them.

On the 17th my boyfriend Chris and I decided to spend our date night at Winter Wonderland!

It was such a magical night and there wasn't anyone else I would rather had spent it with.

We took loads of selfies (too many!) but that's because we were having such a great time! Photos are a great way of capturing any special moment so that when you look at it, you will be grinning from ear to ear.

So bright and colourful!

We wanted to ask someone to take a picture of us but were worried they might run off with our phones haha!

Because Chris wanted a selfie of us with both the Christmas Tree and the Moon in the background! ❤️❤️

We had booked tickets for the Magical Ice Kingdom!

Happy 12th day of Blogmas!

Today I am going to share with you my favourite way to start the day when I stay at my boyfriend's during the colder months.

I'm not sure about you, but my mornings always have to begin with coffee. 

Chris and I are the ultimate coffee lovers, we cannot begin the day without one!

Ever since I tried a ham omelette in Majorca for our first holiday together, I love them.

However a massive fry up is another one of our favourites. Two fried eggs and two rashes of bacon in a sandwich is our guilty pleasure.

Pancakes are another absolute favourite of mine.

I haven't had them in a while so finding them this morning was a very happy moment!

I enjoy coating them with butter and sometimes a cheaky splurge of syrup.

I then shower and wash my hair using Tresemme. This smells gorgeous and leaves the hair feeling super soft. Although the scent is quite strong so think of it as like marmite.

The body wash I am using right now is Snow Fairy shower gel from lush. As I said in a lush haul, this smells strongly of candyfloss so if you're not a fan, I wouldn't recommend! However this will be your holy grail if the smell of Candy Floss makes you happy.

Before I start my makeup I check my brushes and clean the dirtiest ones. Today, as you can see in the picture, I cleaned my sponge applicator, contour, blush and bronzer brushes. 

If I'm having a lazy day I'll sit them on a towel to air dry throughout the day. However because I was getting ready to go out, I towel dry them.

After leaving them to dry for a bit I begin my makeup.

On my face today I am wearing

My ultimate fav - the Mac Studio Fix: This has great coverage but still feels lightweight. I blend it in with my sponge applicator and buffing brush afterwards to ensure there are no patches. 

Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer: A few dabs of this under the eyes, round and on top of the nose to highlight. Blended in also with my sponge applicator.

The Collection Gorgeous Glow: Using a blusher brush I swipe this on my cheekbones giving them a hint of shimmer and pink glow.

The Max Factor Gorgeous Berries creme blush: Also applied with my blusher brush to adding a warm glow to my cheekbones.

Eyes

Urban Decay Smoked Palette

Kinky: I apply this shade as a creamy base as I am going for a more natural eye look.

Freestyle: Worked into the crease as natural shadowing.

Barlust: Applied in the lid, outer corner and under the lower lash line.

Mushroom: To darken my eyebrows.

Maybelline Lash Sensational: For upper and lower lash line.

Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil: For my bottom waterline

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Micro Liner: To create a thick line above my upper lash line and cat flick at the end.

Due to the Christmas season, warm lips are a must. 

In the image above is the Tanya Burr 'Berry Picking' lipgloss. It's a gorgeous shade of red with a glossy/shiny finish.

Hello and welcome to my second day of Blogmas!

Today I am going to supply you with a gift guide for women consisting of different categoric gifts to buy for either your mum, girlfriend, wife if you are still undecided.

Some people think a woman/girl is much easier to buy for in the sense that there is a lot more to choose from. For example, a lot of women enjoy using makeup, candles, stylish clothes, jewellery (I think the list is never-ending!). However we still all have our own likes and dislikes merely because we are different, so although a woman may seem easy to buy for, it is a lot harder than you think unless you know them like the back of your hand.

The first place I would look for to see what gift deals they have on offer is Superdrug and Boots. This is an ideal beginning of your search as many women like makeup. I have a feeling that, if makeup was a person they would be super big-headed.

Obviously if the woman you are buying for is not into makeup, this wouldn't be a step you would need to take. You need to find something she will really like.

Another reason for my dangerous entrance to the Body Shop (the fear of how much money I end up spending is real) was to look at the Body Lotions. 

Next to the hand lotion I came across this Body Lotion, also with the new plum extract. The cosy and soothingness brought on by the smell was when I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. I apply this after I've showered all over my body. It makes my legs feel super duper soft especially after they are freshly shaved. Like the hand cream, this also leaves extracts of glitter behind leaving me looking like a sparkling goddess (hair flick emoji).

Today I have another Autumnal themed post listing all my favourite aspects about Autumn. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons as it means cosy nights in with friends, hot drinks by the fire, the sound of leaves crunching under your feet as they carpet the ground, wrapped up warm with knitted jumpers, scarves, hats and gloves! All whilst leading up to Christmas! It gets me so excited! 

I also attempted to quirk things up a bit and add a few lights and blankets and pillow here and there just to make it slightly more interesting ... 

Jumper: Forever 21

At the top of my list is this cosy red roll neck jumper which I wore in my recent Autumnal Makeup Looks post. This is perfect for the weather right now, I am able to wear a top, this jumper, jeans, boots and I am good to go! It is also super duper snuggly and I enjoy wearing it at home even on a chilled day with a nice cup of coffee (which I'll get into in a sec! ...)

One down from the top of my list is coffee! I am the number one coffee fan, Americano and Lattes to be specific! There is surely nothing better than to wake up and make yourself a nice cup of coffee whilst getting ready or even to chill with as you watch the latest series of American Horror Story. Though the absolute best part about coffee and Autumn is sipping it by the fire as you are covered in blankets or even snuggled up to your loved one. Or even making hot drinks with your friends, covered with marshmallows and whipped cream ❤️

Next on the agenda is makeup. Here I am pointing out;

Max Factor creme puff blush 'Gorgeous Berries - a gorgeous berry shade giving cute rosy cheeks.

L'Oreal Colour Riche 'Julianne's Nude' - A pinky nude which works well with dramatic eyes. (Autumnal Makeup Looks)

Tanya Burr Cosmetics nail polish 'Penguin Chick' - Matches the autumnal tone of a warm, dark soft selection.

Topshop lipstick 'Beguiled'

Tanya Burr Cosmetics lipgloss 'Berry Picking'

Two gorgeous dark shades however, Berry Picking is more of a dark red lipgloss and Beguiled is a dark purple matte lipstick. I would prefer to wear 'Beguiled' on either a night out or shopping day out and 'Berry Picking' for any Christmas parties coming up or on an every day basis.

Yankee Candle: Savour the season
Autumn evenings are not the same without a candle burning away in a dim lighted room. Everything about this scent sugars me with Christmassy thoughts.
Along with a candle firing away on my bedside table, I do enjoy a good book or an evening with my boyfriend snuggled up for a cosy movie night along with hot chocolates, pizza and blankets. Right now my two book favourites are 'Binge' by Tyler Oakley and 'Girl Online on Tour' by Zoella. I have not begun either of these adventures yet but they are definitely something I can look forward to. A night cream is a must for me since I discovered this one by Botanics. It leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed in the mornings which is better than a rough texture.
